Learning By Doing
With a decade of experience studying chemical physics using cutting-edge methodologies, I am now actively seeking a prestigious role as a scientist in South Holland to further enhance societal progress.
My passion for innovation and contribution to scientific advancement is unwavering, and I am committed to making a profound impact.
Currently, I am working at the Leiden Observatory on my Marie Curie-funded postdoctoral project, PSI-COM. In my previous positions, I gained familiarity with the following technologies and techniques:
Ultra-high vacuum systems & cryogenics
Pulsed Nd:YAG lasers, tunable dye lasers
UV/Vis, infrared, and fluorescence spectroscopy
Generation of gas-phase ions (electrospray ionization, electron impact ionization, and plasma entrainment)
Radiofrequency ion optics
Ion and electron imaging
Pulsed molecular beam operation and application
Mass spectrometry
Beyond these technical skills, I take great pride in my written and oral communication of my work, as well as the good relationships I foster and maintain with my colleagues. I believe in treating people with respect regardless of their experience level, so that work can be a place that is fulfilling more than just intellectually.
This website represents a personal effort to collect all the specifics of my past ~10 years working in various sub-sections of chemical physics, as well as to provide more details than can be included in a CV or a LinkedIn profile. But, the best way to get to know me is by talking to me — feel free to send me an e-mail if you have any questions about my work history!
